Last night was fun. We baked a cake, microwaved some popcorn and watched “How to Train your Dragon” in our mini home-theater. Who knew you could play a movie via thumbdrive on the PS3? Technology is quickly speeding ahead of us.

I went to an Asian market yesterday, alone. Boy did I feel white, it’s not odd enough that I feel like the minority on the West Coast – but holy shit. No one knew what I was saying. I’m asking where the rice is, you’d think the word ‘rice’ would be pretty global. Nope. Bought some Red Snapper, had them clean and fry it on the spot. How clever is that? We made some rice and finadene for the fish, yum! I even ate the eyeball, not something I’d suggest to other haoles. But I can see into a fishes’ soul now, and read their mind.

Looking forward to a nice weekend with my bunny and the boys. Might work on the Snoop Dog / Kid Cudi remix tonight, oh I will win that contest – you watch. The song doesn’t even sound that good, I refuse to listen to anything but the stems so I can’t get any ideas from post-production.

Got out of the gym about 30 minutes ago, had a pleasant workout seeing that there were about 10 people there. Gaining on the upper-body strength, still have to lose this islander stomach though. Working on it. Filled up the Scion, put air in the tires and heading back into the house now.

Half-day at work today, we might go see ‘how to train your dragon’ after we pick up the boys from Sheena’s parents’ house. Jacob started preschool this week, he seems to really like it and got into the flow of things very quickly. Jaiden is off for Spring Vacation all week starting today, I’m sure he’s souped.

The CRM demo went well, I’m 60% complete with the first scope! My online voting application went online this week for council testing, got some pretty high praise from the guinea pigs. Made it mobile yesterday per request. It has it’s own session based authentication now along with a bunch of other bells and whistles.

Four minutes til’ opening – can’t wait to see the wife go into mommy-mode. Better wash my smokey hands now.

It was hard to leave the bed this morning. Got to the gym a half an hour later than I usually do. Starting to see the affect on my body, just gotta watch the calories – fast food. Been 10lbs overweight for a few months now, but I’ve lost 6lbs within the past few weeks.

Looks like it’s going to be a nice day, the sun is coming up over the hills and there’s not a cloud in the sky. Wrapping up a few sidejobs this week, then I’ll be putting my portfolio back up at webdeviloper.com and look for more development and design gigs.
Off to wake up my baby (she looked awfully beautiful this morning) and Jaiden for PE time.
